I knew before I'd picked one thing out for our nursery that I wanted to incorporate a tree graphic. The room doesn't really have a nature theme but something about having a bright, bold tree appealed to me. I'm not the most artistic person around so rather than attempting to paint one, I decided a decal was the way to go. But who knew there were so many out there? After looking at a forest's worth, I finally settled on this one from Not Neutral:
My husband did an amazing job putting it up and I was very happy with our choice. And then....
I saw this.
Jennifer at Cup of Coco designed a fabulous room for her daughter which featured an amazing felt and fabric tree. Just look at the details!
I fell in love. I so wanted a tree like this for my girls' nursery but with my limited craftiness, there was no way it was going to happen. Sigh.
Fast forward almost a year. I was browsing Etsy (my most favorite website!) and stumbled upon the perfect way to satisy my fabric wall art lust - the Twitter Bird Wall Stickers from lovemaestore.
What's so great about them, you ask? They're actually printed on fabric!
Even better, they're removeable and reusable, making it easy to experiment with placement, and they're washable so no worries about putting them at child level. I had to have them! We still had one spot over the closet in the nursery that screamed for something fun and I knew the Twitter Birds would be perfect.
And they were.
Visit lovemaestore and check out all of the fantastic decals they have available - from animals and trees to tea sets and toad stools, there's sure to be something perfect for the little boy or girl in your life. I can't wait until Gabrielle & Alaina are older so I can put these adorable dress up doll decals in their big girl room!
How fun will they be for the girls to play with?
