But I live in a loft-style New York City apartment, not exactly a space that screams out for shabby chic. Unless the chic kind of overtakes the shabby, like with these fabulous candlesticks from The Broken House.
I love that they still have a rustic feel but the color is poppy and modern, making them more appropriate for my contemporary decor. The red is gorgeous but I'm also feeling this pear green pair.
And the antique gold is anything but antiquated.
Want something more traditional? The Broken House can also do a simple cream.
A pretty pale pink.
And a beautiful Robin's Egg blue.
And besides being super chic, none of the candlestick sets from The Broken House cost more than $15! Now that's not shabby at all.
And this isn't too shabby, either. The Broken House has generously agreed to give away one set of candlesticks to a lucky AFOMFT reader!
