If you read AFOMFT regularly, then you've seen me repeatedly profess my adoration for Kim, the amazing talent behind The TomKat Studio. I get so much inspiration from her blog on a daily basis and this week, the Fairy Garden-themed party she threw for her daughter Kate's 3rd birthday absolutely blew me away.
Is that desert table amazing or what? And the fabulous details just keep coming! Every little thing perfectly tied in with the theme, from the invitations with an adorable fairy silhouette by Pen and Paper Flowers:
And the flower covered cake:
To the fantastic fairy-inspired outfit for the birthday girl:
And the fabulous sweet treats:
I love every little touch! For more amazing photos (courtesy of Vikki Lynn Photography) and details, visit The TomKat Studio and to buy the very pretty party printables Kim created for Kate's party, visit her Etsy store. Brava, Kim!
There are so many great ways to pull off a garden-themed celebration, even if you don't think you have the time or the resources. Take a look at this adorable backyard tea party.
It's so sweet! I adore the fun flowered hats for each of the party goers.
And I also love the blooms that can be personalized to use as favor tags or place cards.
Every single detail is covered - there are coordinating placemats, napkin rings, plate graphics, cup wrappers and coasters!
What little girl wouldn't love a party that looks like that? And you'll love the price tag attached. For just $12, you'll get a PDF file from Mélangerie Inc. which includes all of the elements you see above as well as a matching birthday banner, invitations, favor tags and more! Talk about a simple way to pull off the perfect party. We've got a giveaway for a set of printables from Mélangerie Inc. HERE so be sure to enter!
Another fun Garden Party was created by Cupcakes 'n Confetti for little Maddie's second birthday. This super sweet invitation was the inspiration for all of the other party pieces. I love the scalloped return address label.
Guests knew they were at the party place thanks to this matching welcome sign.
The birthday girl had a coordinating crown.
And the other revelers got hats too.
They decked out plants as decorations, very appropriate for a Garden Party.
Even the paper products got a pick me up.
And the favors had a matching thank you from the birthday girl.
Like what you see? Cupcakes 'n Confetti can create customized a party for your little one too and stay tuned because we have a fabulous giveaway from these great designers coming next week!
So we've covered the printables that are out there to help you create a glorious garden-themed bash, but we all know there's more to it than that! Every garden fairy needs the perfect outfit. Wouldn't this dragonfly onesie and coordinating tutu from TuTees be just right?
I love how there are flowers in tutu! And their namesake TuTee is an amazing twist on the typical tutu and top combo - the tutu is attached to the onesie!
And for bigger birthday girls, they make the funky ruffle dress.
Love them! If you do too, be sure to check out the great TuTees giveaway we've got going on.
And last but not least, what garden fairy would be complete without a wand?
The whimsical felt creations from Stell & Livi are so beautiful, I want one for me!
What's great about them is your little one can use her wand for dress up long after the party's over. How delightful is this daisy version?
I love the idea of putting it in a bud vase and using it as a decoration too.
There's also a dandelion wand. So fun!
And while she's carrying her wonderful wand, wouldn't your daughter look darling in a matching rose-adorned cape?
There's also a coordinating crown.
All of Stell & Livi's party hats and crowns are to die for. Any of these beautiful options would work for a garden-themed celebration.
They are truly little works of art. Just look at the detailing:
And I can't finish up talking about Stell & Livi without showing you this sassy ruffled skirt, which comes in a bunch of different color options.
Really, does it get any cuter than this?
After seeing all those fun felt creations, I know you're dying for something from Stell & Livi! It's your lucky day because we've got a giveaway from this wonderful store too.
Phew! That's a whole lot of Garden Party goodness right there. We've got more in store - including decorating ideas, cake inspiration and game suggestions - coming next week that you won't want to miss. In the meantime, don't forget to enter all of the great giveaways listed in this post as well as the one for a set of Cakes and Kids fondant cupcake toppers (these watering cans scream Garden Party!):
