AFOMFT loves you all so much that we're giving away bracelets from Lee Angel to not one, not two but three of you! Aren't theses ribbon and charm cuffs adorable?
To enter, post a comment here telling me your favorite thing about being a mom before end of day on Monday, May 10th. On Tuesday, I'll draw three winners at random. One will receive a green cuff, one will receive a blue cuff and one will receive a peach cuff. Each one retails for $89. Good luck and have a lovely Mother's Day!
The best part is the hugs! Getting a genuine hug from an 18 month old just makes your heart melt... sigh...
ReplyDeleteThe best part (so far, being pregnant) is feeling our baby kick/move around. :)
ReplyDeleteThe best part of being a mom is the unconditional love from a sweet little boy...the sharing of milestones....witnessing the accomplishments and skills firsthand...the warm snuggles, hugs and kisses. It's ALL the best part of being a mom and I wouldn't have it any other way!
ReplyDelete"Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible". - quoted from the internet
ReplyDeleteI enjoy watching my toddler grow and love doing things with him that I did when I was a child... I'm able to reflect back to my view of the world through the eyes of a child. He completes my life.
ReplyDeletehmmm.... why do I love being a mom?
ReplyDelete1. Their smiles
2. The first kiss from them
3. Having them do something that I taught them.
Happy Mother's Day to you!
My favorite thing about being a mom is that it teaches you to live unselfishly. That's not always easy but I wouldn't want it to be the opposite. I love my five kids.
ReplyDeleteThe best part of being a Mom is the smiles I get everyday from my 11-month old daughter. Watching her grow into this little person has been unbelieveably rewarding.I am so blessed!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!!!
Its hard to chose just one favorite.. so here are a couple of my Favorite things about being a mommy:
ReplyDeleteIts watching my litte ones grow, its so exciting to see how much they change, and learn. From learning to walk and crawl, to that first drooly wet kiss, to first days of school and so on. I am a proud mommy of 3! And all three of them amaze me everyday in their own special way! And I cant contain sometimes how much I love them!! :)
Another favorite for sure is totally the unconditional love i get from them! No matter when I feel like im doing great or having a "bad mommy" day, I know they are still loving me and appreciate me. I always get "i love yous" and hugs and kisses every day! Its THE best.
I especially love it when my 4 year old sun will come up to me and tell me out of nowhere that Im beautiful. It really is so sweet and makes my day. Especially when its one of those days when Im feeling icky.. havent showered and and been cleaning all morning looking like scum haha and then he says mommy youre beautiful. It just makes it all worth it!
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL THE AMAZING WONDERFUL HARD WORKING MOMMYS OUT THERE! YOU ALL DESERVE THIS SPECIAL DAY!!
The best part of being a mom is having all three of my kids wanting to give me hugs and looking to me for comfort and love. That is my favorite part-- being needed!
ReplyDeleteThe best part for me is the unconditional love that we receive from our children. They care not about what we have done in our past or what we will go in our future, how much money we will or do make or even what we have. They love us from day one!
ReplyDeleteI love the unprompted hugs and kisses I receive daily. There's nothing better than being a mom.
ReplyDeleteGosh... there are so many amazing things! My favorite is the love and all the laughs! Children make you smile!
ReplyDeleteThe best part is the smiles and cuddling.. No matter how irritated I get at him when he's screaming or not wanting to sleep, as soon as he smiles, I melt..
ReplyDeleteThe best part of being a mom is the smiles first thing in the morning when I walk into their room. Best smile EVER!
ReplyDeleteI think that the best thing is to hear them call you "mama".
ReplyDeleteMy absolute favorite thing is when my little girl walks up to me out of the blue and tell's me she loves me! Makes my heart melt every time!
ReplyDeleteThe best thing for me depends on if we're having a good day or not.
ReplyDeleteA not so good day the best part is Nap time.
A good day, snuggles on the sofa, the look on their face as they give you a kiss you didn't ask for.
The fact that as my eldest has become more and more a Daddys boy, it him who gets woken up at the weekends :)
I love watching my son grow and learn but the best thing is the love he has for me! It is an amazing feeling to know that you are the center of someone else's universe. His smiles are the best drug in the world!
ReplyDeleteOh the cuddles!
ReplyDeleteAnd watching them grow into their own little person!
I think the best thing is watching them soak everything in around them and the hugs and cuddles are awesome too!
ReplyDeletePraying together. When they close their eyes and lean on my forehead, then say "Aaahhhhhmeeeeeeen". LOVE.
